Hostal Donde Regina – Hotel near airport in Guatemala City

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel; the rooms were spacious with a good bathroom, although they had small high windows. The location is convenient for early morning flights as it is right behind the dining area for breakfast. The service was top-notch, especially for late-night and early-morning flights, and the staff created a warm, family-like atmosphere. Dining options were satisfying, and there was a lovely garden for meals.

Upon arrival, I found this lodging to be simple but tastefully appointed, boasting a spacious bathroom and closet different from the one we initially booked. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, and the breakfast service included welcome drinks amidst a lovely ambiance with plants and flowers. The location, though not the best, was totally fine for an Airport Hotel, with the ATM just 500 meters away. While not close to restaurants, the owner kindly arranged take-away meals. The dining experience was delightful, with tasty dinner options in a beautiful garden setting; the Asian street food was a standout choice. However, the hotel does not offer a diverse menu, having only three selections. As for the facilities, they were convenient, and I enjoyed the small but beautiful garden for dining and terrace for Yoga. The price was reasonable, making it a value-for-money stay.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were cozy and perfect for a budget stay before a flight. The service was exceptional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location, just a short walk from the airport, was very convenient. The dining options were delicious and the small but beautiful garden added to the charm of the place.
